Sakura's got a nice hairband. <3
At first I didn't know much about this picture, but now I have heard the background story from Siiy my brain can tell me a different story about it. Though, this is art, and my eyes will have to feast on it first before my brain does, to appreciate its true nature.
No, in my eyes this does not look like romanticism, it looks like everything is forced, unnatural. (Itachi looks happy though )
I understand some women like the idea of slavery and yes they can be my guest and go for that style.
The crackled paper on which Siiy drew gives that extra little charm to the picture, I find.
It is also not colored bad, as you can see Siiy colored in one direction, perhaps two, but they are correct directions.
A nice little thing to remark is that she painted one part of this whole picture red, which brings out in the eye. Normally it would, but to my eyes the dramatic look on her face overcomes this.
The way Siiy uses her hands on the pencil seems quite calm, it almost feels like she drew this with awe and love in her eyes, it could also only be my impression. Oh well.
I appreciate the romantic thought (at least, I think it was the artist's intention) behind this picture.

I like their position, heh. Meh thinks that Sakura enjoyed it as welll, even if it was forced. Who wouldn't? (Yeah... maybe guys... but I think you know what I mean... )
